What does a CRM actually cost in 2026?
Seats are the tip of the iceberg. Underneath sit implementation fees, AI add-ons, credit meters, contact tiers, and the admin hours nobody puts in the budget. Here is the arithmetic — Salesforce, HubSpot, Attio, Pipedrive, Zoho, and ClearRove's flat pricing — at eight sellers and at twenty-five.
All competitor figures are public list prices as of mid-2026, taken from each vendor's own pricing page. Pricing and packaging change frequently and negotiated terms differ. Nothing here is a formal quote.
Every CRM sends you three bills
Only one of them appears on the pricing page. Budgeting from that number alone is how teams end up surprised in month four.
Bill one — license seats
The number on the pricing page, multiplied by headcount, usually multiplied again by twelve because the good rate requires annual billing. This is the only number most teams compare, and it's the one that grows automatically every time you hire.
Bill two — implementation and onboarding
Configuration, data migration, field design, integrations, and in some cases a mandatory onboarding fee. HubSpot publishes one-time onboarding charges on its paid tiers. Salesforce implementations are typically partner-led and commonly land in the tens of thousands of dollars for a real deployment.
Bill three — ongoing admin, AI, and data tools
The permanent bill. Someone maintains the instance — often a dedicated admin or RevOps hire at enterprise CRMs. AI features are frequently sold as add-ons, higher tiers, or consumption credits rather than being included. Then the surrounding stack: enrichment, note-takers, sequencing, dashboards.

Salesforce Sales Cloud
salesforce.com/sales/pricing- Starter Suite
- ~$25 / user / mo
- Pro Suite
- ~$100 / user / mo
- Enterprise
- ~$175 / user / mo
- Unlimited
- ~$350 / user / mo
- Agentforce 1 Sales
- ~$550 / user / mo
The most configurable CRM on the market and the most expensive way to arrive at a working one. AI is typically an add-on or consumption-priced rather than bundled into the mainstream sales tiers. Implementation is commonly partner-led and lands in the tens of thousands. Most teams above ten seats end up funding admin or RevOps capacity to keep it healthy.
As you hire: Every hire adds a full Enterprise seat. Ten new sellers at Enterprise list is roughly $1,750 a month more, before any AI add-on.
HubSpot Sales Hub
hubspot.com/pricing- Free CRM
- $0 — not a serious sales tier
- Starter
- ~$15–20 / seat / mo
- Professional
- ~$90 / seat / mo annual (~$100 monthly) + ~$1,500 one-time onboarding
- Enterprise
- ~$150 / seat / mo + higher onboarding (~$3,500)
Genuinely pleasant to use and the strongest all-in-one story if you also want marketing. The cost trap is the stack: Marketing Hub and its contact-tier pricing are billed separately, so the CRM line item rarely reflects the real invoice. Sources vary on Starter pricing depending on billing term and region — treat the band as indicative.
As you hire: Per-seat and per-contact growth compound. Adding sellers raises the Sales Hub line; growing your database raises the Marketing Hub line independently.
Attio
attio.com/pricing- Free
- $0 — up to 3 seats
- Plus
- ~$35 / user / mo annual (~$44 monthly), up to 10 seats
- Pro
- ~$79 / user / mo annual (~$99 monthly), unlimited seats
- Enterprise
- Custom
Modern, fast, and flexible on data modelling. AI and enrichment run on a credit system, which is fine until usage is real — credits are a variable line that isn't visible in the headline per-seat price. Budget for overages if you intend to lean on automation.
As you hire: Straight per-seat scaling on Pro, plus credit consumption that tends to rise with team activity rather than with headcount alone.
Pipedrive
pipedrive.com/pricing- Essential
- ~$14 / seat / mo annual
- Professional
- ~$39 / seat / mo
- Power
- ~$59 / seat / mo
- Enterprise
- ~$79 / seat / mo
The cheapest credible pipeline tool for a small team, and it stays cheap. AI capability is light relative to the AI-native tools, and the useful capabilities — sequencing, projects, extra automation — arrive as add-ons that quietly move the effective per-seat price up a tier.
As you hire: Low per-seat cost means hiring hurts less here than anywhere else on this list. The trade is that the CRM does less of the work.
Zoho CRM
zoho.com/crm/pricing- Standard
- ~$14 / user / mo
- Professional
- ~$23 / user / mo
- Enterprise
- ~$40 / user / mo
- Ultimate
- ~$52 / user / mo
The lowest seat cost of the major platforms with a very broad feature surface. What you pay for in hours rather than dollars is interface friction and shallower AI depth, which matters most for the exact work this article is about — keeping records current without a human typing them.
As you hire: Cheap to scale on paper. The cost migrates into configuration time and rep adoption.
ClearRove
clearrove.com/pricing- Starter
- $499 / mo — up to 10 users — no Rove AI
- Growth
- $999 / mo — up to 25 users — Rove AI included
- Scale
- $1,899 / mo — up to 50 users — deep research
- Enterprise
- Custom — unlimited
Flat price per company, not per seat. Rove — the AI teammate that turns a debrief or a spoken instruction into proposed CRM updates you confirm — is included from Growth upward rather than sold as an add-on. Onboarding is a published one-time fee rather than a negotiated services project: $499 on Starter, $999 on Growth, $1,899 on Scale, and a quoted scope on Enterprise. The Founding Customer Program locks pricing for early teams and waives the onboarding fee.
As you hire: Hiring your ninth through twenty-fifth seller does not change the bill on Growth. Cost per seller falls as the team grows.
Eight sellers, then twenty-five
Monthly licence cost on each platform's realistic working tier — not the free tier, not the cheapest entry plan nobody runs a sales team on.
| Platform | Tier used | 8 users / mo | 25 users / mo |

| ClearRove Growth | Flat $999 (covers up to 25 users) | $999 | $999 |
| Salesforce Enterprise | $175 / user / mo | $1,400 | $4,375 |
| HubSpot Sales Hub Pro | $90 / seat / mo annual | $720 | $2,250 |
| Attio Pro | $79 / user / mo annual | $632 | $1,975 |
| Pipedrive Professional | $39 / seat / mo | $312 | $975 |
| Zoho Enterprise | $40 / user / mo | $320 | $1,000 |

Year-one sketch for a ten-person team
Order-of-magnitude estimates, not quotes. Licence figures are arithmetic from published list prices; implementation and ongoing figures are typical ranges reported for deployments of this size.
| Platform | Year-one licences | Setup | Ongoing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Salesforce Enterprise | ~$21,000 (10 seats at list, annual) | $30,000–$100,000+ implementation | Admin or RevOps capacity; AI typically add-on or consumption |
| HubSpot Sales Hub Pro | ~$10,800 (10 seats at ~$90 annual) | ~$1,500 one-time onboarding | Marketing Hub and contact tiers commonly billed separately |
| Attio Pro | ~$9,480 (10 seats at ~$79 annual) | Self-serve; internal configuration time | Credit consumption for AI and enrichment; overages possible |
| ClearRove Growth | $11,988 flat ($999 × 12), covers up to 25 users | $999 one-time onboarding (waived for Founding Customers) | Rove AI included; no per-seat increase up to the tier ceiling |
For a ten-person team, ClearRove Growth is roughly $12,987 in year one — $11,988 in licences plus the $999 one-time onboarding fee — with Rove AI included and no separate AI SKU. Founding Customers have the onboarding fee waived, which brings year one to $11,988. The same ten seats on HubSpot Sales Hub Professional are about $12,300 before Marketing Hub, and Salesforce Enterprise is roughly $21,000 in licences before an implementation that commonly runs $30,000 or more.
Why ClearRove wins on cost and on AI
Not because it is the cheapest line item — Pipedrive and Zoho are — but because it is the only one on this list where the price stops moving and the AI is already in it.
Flat, predictable, per company
$499, $999, or $1,899 a month — not multiplied by headcount. You can forecast the line for the year and hire against it without renegotiating software.
Effective cost falls as you grow
Growth at $999 works out to roughly $125 per seller at eight sellers and about $40 per seller at twenty-five. The ninth through twenty-fifth hire adds nothing to the bill.
Rove is included, not an upsell
From Growth upward, the AI teammate is in the price. There is no separate AI SKU and no credit meter running in the background while your team works.
Confirm before write
Rove proposes; you approve. It stages the summary, the tasks, the deal move, and the follow-up draft from your debrief or a spoken instruction, and nothing is saved until you confirm it. Every write is logged and reversible.
It removes the work that makes cheap CRMs expensive
The reason a $40 seat can cost more than a flat plan is the hours it demands. Pricing the CRM properly means pricing the admin time it creates — and that is the line ClearRove is designed to cut.
Transparent, productized onboarding
Onboarding is a published one-time fee — $499 on Starter, $999 on Growth, $1,899 on Scale, quoted on Enterprise — covering workspace and pipeline setup, CSV/XLSX import with a field-mapping review, roles and invites, live Rove training on Growth and above, and a go-live checklist. A fixed number on the invoice, not a six-figure partner-led services project. Founding Customers have it waived.

When another CRM is the right answer
Cost is one variable. These are the cases where we would tell you to buy something else.
Choose HubSpot if you want one all-in-one suite
If marketing automation, CMS, and service need to live in the same platform as the CRM, HubSpot's integrated stack is a genuine advantage and worth its price. Budget the contact tiers honestly.
Choose Salesforce for heavy enterprise machinery
Complex CPQ, territory management, deep multi-org governance, and a large ecosystem of specialist integrations remain Salesforce's territory. If you need that, it is the right expensive answer.
Choose Attio for an unusual data model
If your business objects don't look like accounts, contacts, and deals, Attio's flexibility is the best in the category. Model the credit consumption before you commit.
Choose Pipedrive or Zoho if seat price dominates
For very small or very cost-constrained teams that mostly need a pipeline, both are rational. Accept that more of the record-keeping stays manual.
Choose ClearRove for AI-driven sales work at a predictable price
B2B sales teams between roughly five and fifty sellers who want the CRM to do the busywork, want AI included rather than metered, and want a bill that doesn't move every time they hire.
